It can play up to 12 hours of music and store a maximum of 500 songs. This is a basic model that does not have photo and video support. This is ideal for working out at the gym as it weighs lesser than an ounce. It comes with earphones and an USB dock. It is available in four color choices.
iPod Nano:
Storage capacity: 8GB and 16GB
Price range: $149 to $199
The nano can store about 4,000 songs and the music playback can last for 24 hours. It has video support that runs for four hours. It has a color LCD display with LED backlight. It offers photo support and is compatible with the standard image file formats. The nano can play MOV files. This model comes with a dock adapter too.
iPod Classic:
Storage capacity: 120GB
Price range: $249
It can store a whopping 36 hours of music, which means 30,000 songs. It has all the features of nano but has a better video display. It is the heaviest model amongst all.
iPod Touch:
Storage capacity: 8GB, 16 GB and 32 GB
Price range: $229 to $399
The iPod Touch can stock up to 7,000 songs with 32 GB storage. It has a widescreen, multi-touch display. It is Wi-Fi enabled with a GPS capability. It provides high quality photo and video support. iPod Touch is sold in black color only.
